This represents the end of Devoto: Music in Hell, Chapter 7!

Amazingly, this catches us up to what I always considered the "intro" of the comic to be. All the players in place! Nina was always meant to be the one bound to Isam, it just took us a good ol’ while to make it there. Poor girl, but she does have some terrible luck, doesn’t she? After this, I can now segue to chapters that are shorter and more self-contained. And I owe you guys a few of them. WHEW! See you for Chapter 8!

Sorry to bother you, but since you go to Brown and all do you have any tips for getting in? Or what it’s like going to school there? Its definitely one of my dream schools :)

Hey! No bother at all :)

Just do things you’re passionate about and genuinely care about doing, I think is my main advice. For me, that was writing and teaching so it wasn’t something I had to force myself to do. Of course work hard in your classes and study for the SATs and stuff, but also engage with the world and your community!

Brown is seriously great—I’ve met so many amazing people here who are dedicated and genuinely interested in the work they do. I’d describe the curriculum as challenging, but the environment as supportive and collaborative.
