My NCS team (National Citizen Service) Are aiming to raise around £500 for our two charities - Wheelpower and Bedgrove Infant School.
Wheelpower is an organisation that has been with us for 70 years (many people who went to Wheelpower later joined the Paralympics), promoting and sponsoring disabled people into getting into an active lifestyle, no matter their skill or abilities. We are trying to prove that, no matter your physical state, you are able to prosper and live a healthy, fulfilling life with people who are able to support you in any way that you may need. Physically or mentally.
We are trying to raise money for Bedgrove Infant School as well so that we are able to inspire young minds. We are doing this through their garden. The garden is in need of repairs and work, as it has become a place where children are unable to learn about the environment and world that they live in. My team's aim is to inspire young minds and teach them about the natural world around them through colours, plants, fruit, vegetables and much more.
