Harvey Specter strode into Pearson Specter Litt’s HR department with his usual confident swagger. Today, however, was different. His focus was not on his latest case or dealing with another lawyer’s grievance. No, today his sharp eyes were set on you, the Director of HR, who had recently become the talk of the office for all the right reasons.
You glanced up from your desk, noticing Harvey’s approach. His tailored suit and disarming smile were impossible to ignore.
“Harvey,” you greeted, trying to keep your composure. “What brings you to HR today?”
Harvey leaned against the doorframe, his eyes twinkling with a mix of mischief and admiration. “I’ve heard a lot of things about you, and I think it’s time I see if the rumors are true.”
You raised an eyebrow, feigning confusion. “Rumors? About me?”
“Yeah,” Harvey said, stepping closer, his voice dropping to a more intimate tone. “They say you’re not just good at handling office issues but also at making someone’s day a lot brighter.”
You chuckled, shaking your head. “Is that so? Well, I’m flattered, but I have a lot of work to do.”
“Come on,” Harvey said, flashing his trademark grin. “How about a little break from work? I promise it’ll be worth your while.”
A spark of curiosity ignited in you. “Alright, I’ll bite. What do you have in mind?”
Harvey’s smile widened as he gestured toward the door. “Let’s grab a coffee. My treat.”
You hesitated for a moment, then grabbed your purse. “Sure, why not? Let’s see what Harvey Specter is really like outside the office.”
As you walked down the bustling streets of New York, Harvey’s charm was impossible to ignore. He was witty, engaging, and had a way of making even the most mundane topics interesting. By the time you reached the coffee shop, you felt like you had known him for years.
Over lattes and pastries, the conversation flowed effortlessly. Harvey leaned in closer with every word, his eyes never leaving yours. “You know,” he said, his tone suddenly serious, “I didn’t expect to find someone who could make me forget about work and just enjoy being in the moment.”
You met his gaze, feeling a warm flutter in your chest. “Is that so?”
“Yeah,” Harvey said softly. “I’ve been in this game a long time, but I’ve never met anyone like you. You’ve got this way of making everything feel… right.”
You smiled, feeling a mixture of excitement and nervousness. “Harvey, are you trying to charm me?”
He grinned, leaning back in his chair with a playful glint in his eyes. “Maybe. But it’s not just charm. It’s the truth.”
As the evening sun cast a golden glow over the city, Harvey’s hand brushed against yours. The contact was electric, and you could feel the chemistry crackling between you.
“I’d like to see you again,” Harvey said, his voice low and earnest. “How about dinner tomorrow night?”
You nodded, your heart racing. “I’d like that.”
Harvey’s smile was triumphant, and he reached out to gently squeeze your hand. “Great. I’ll pick you up at seven.”
As you both left the coffee shop, Harvey’s arm casually draped around your shoulder, you felt the beginnings of something extraordinary. What started as a casual coffee had ignited a spark between you, and you couldn’t wait to see where this new connection would lead.
The next evening, as the clock ticked closer to seven, you found yourself anxiously adjusting your outfit in front of the mirror. Harvey’s earlier words replayed in your mind, and you were determined to make the night memorable.
A knock at the door jolted you from your thoughts. You opened it to find Harvey standing there, his signature smirk in place and a bouquet of roses in hand.
“Good evening,” Harvey said smoothly, handing you the flowers. “These are for you.”
You took the roses with a smile. “Thank you, Harvey. You’re quite the romantic.”
He chuckled, his eyes lingering on you. “I do have my moments.”
The drive to the restaurant was filled with light-hearted banter and stolen glances. Harvey’s hand rested casually on your knee, sending shivers up your spine each time he shifted. When you arrived, the elegant restaurant was lit with soft candlelight and the air was filled with the faint, seductive notes of jazz.
As you were seated, Harvey’s gaze never left you. He pulled out your chair with a practiced grace and, once you were seated, took his place across from you.
“This place is amazing,” you said, glancing around at the ambiance.
Harvey’s eyes sparkled with mischief. “Not as amazing as you.”
The evening flowed seamlessly with delicious food and even better conversation. Harvey’s charm was on full display, and the way he looked at you made you feel like you were the only person in the world.
As the night progressed, the conversation grew more intimate. You found yourself leaning closer, sharing secrets and laughter as if you had known him for years.
Finally, after the dessert plates were cleared, Harvey took your hand across the table. His touch was warm, and you could feel the intensity of his gaze.
“I’ve been thinking about you all day,” Harvey confessed, his voice soft but intense. “And I have to tell you… I can’t get you out of my mind.”
You felt your heart race as you met his gaze. “Harvey, I…”
He interrupted gently, leaning in. “I know this might be fast, but I can’t help how I feel. There’s something about you that just pulls me in.”
His words were a heady mix of desire and sincerity, and before you could respond, he moved closer, his lips brushing against yours in a tender, electrifying kiss.
The kiss deepened, growing more passionate as the world around you seemed to disappear. Harvey’s hand cupped your face, his thumb gently stroking your cheek as his lips moved with a hungry intensity. You responded with equal fervor, your fingers tangling in his hair as you pulled him closer.
When the kiss finally broke, both of you were breathless and flushed. Harvey’s eyes were dark with desire, and he took your hand, pressing a lingering kiss to your fingers. “I’ve wanted to do that since the moment I saw you.
You smiled, feeling a mix of exhilaration and tenderness. “I’m glad you did.”
Harvey’s eyes softened as he gazed at you. “I want to make tonight unforgettable. Let’s get out of here.”
He led you outside, and you both took a leisurely walk under the city lights. The warmth of his hand in yours and the way he looked at you made the night feel magical.
When you reached your apartment, Harvey’s lips found yours again in a searing kiss. His hands roamed down your back, pulling you closer as the kiss turned heated.
Breathless, you pulled back slightly, looking into his eyes. “Harvey, I don’t want tonight to end.”
He smiled, his expression tender yet filled with longing. “Neither do I. Let’s make the most of every moment.”
Harvey stepped closer, his lips brushing against your ear as he whispered, “Why don’t we continue this inside?”
The promise in his voice made your pulse quicken. You nodded, opening the door and stepping inside. Harvey followed, closing the door behind him with a decisive click. The night was just beginning, and as Harvey’s arms wrapped around you, you knew this was only the start of something incredibly special.
