about the boat thing, it's hard to do because to trap air in a space like that you'll need to lower it down as straight and even as possible (you can try doing the same thing with a cup or bowl), and you'll probably want a medium-weight boat so it's not too heavy to pull down through the water (obviously you don't want it floating away). other than that, when you start to lift it out of the water again it can fill up, so make sure you have enough oxygen for deep breaths and don't go too far :D
