So I invited a boy to my church for Lenten worship tonight

Though Facebook. I sent him the address and the times of services and soup, and let him know that he's welcomed but doesn't need to come by if he doesn't want to. He's been going through a rough patch and I want to offer him some help. Today I walked past him and his friend on my way up to talk to the teacher about one of the physics problems and I saw him on his phone screen pointing and gesturing to the invite and laughing. What the hell. I feel like shit. I mean.. I talked to him on Monday and he seemed really open about it. Now I just feel stupid for thinking he'd want to come by.
