Last night was the choir Christmas concert for two of my kids, and when I saw my 9 year old participating in the concert for the first time, singing all the words to O Holy Night after years of just standing and staring, I started bawling in my seat.
#at this point last year the idea of him being able to thrive like this was a distant dream#medication has been such a miracle#and I get emotional when I think about his poor brain struggling to make a dopamine before this#my 12 year old was very alarmed#when I started crying#I think he thought I tore my stitches or something
