They weren’t supposed to actually HAPPEN.
They weren’t supposed to be irritating great-uncles or whatever and wills and a stupid responsibility I NEVER would have taken except the bills were piling up and the lawyer insisted it was more viable than my current job.
So here I am, in Florida, running a stupid machine to make “old fashioned” lemonade from organic farm grown lemons (where ELSE they would be grown is not addressed on the packaging), to be sold to people with more money than sense to actually look UP the research on GMO foods, counting down the debt and equivalent days until I can return to my old, much less literal life.
Each carton is one hour closer, it feels like.
Soon, soon I’ll be able to look up what people say about giving AWAY the lemons...
