Knives Out plot bunnies

Do any of y’all have any idea how hard it is not to have my fic digress into a flashback about the Adventures of Benoit Blanc’s Daddy and Young!Harlan Thrombey in the Deep South wherein Harlan is a reporter that moonlights as a fiction writer on the side and Daddy Blanc is played by young Callum Keith Rennie and he’s just trying to be a good cop look at these photos and understand how hard my life it right now.

COMING SOON: New Fic - RIDE OFF

Because when you have three multipart AU’s already on the go, two of which have chapters currently being written, why wouldn’t you start a new one?

Set in the 1980′s polo set, this fic will take place in England, Scotland, Deauville and Palm Beach.

Jamie is an international professional polo player who has recently come out of the army, Claire is a surgeon. When the two meet at the final of the Gold Cup, its not just the divots that are flying.

The first chapter will be up over the weekend

*NB for those of you who have read Jilly Cooper’s Polo, this is inspired by the world she creates in that book, but is not a crossover per se as at this point I have no plans in using any characters from her novel (but I will never say never), for those of you who haven’t read it but want an entertaining but easy read I cannot recommend this most excellent piece of silliness.

Just watched latest Boruto episode. Freaked out like a rabid fan girl when I saw my baby - damn Kakashi is looking good! But the overall plot of the series is bothering me. It doesn't feel like it's going anywhere and I want a fucking answer about what boruto's dojutsu is! Lives depend on this information, especially if I can use it in An Inch of Gold!

Aggressive plot bunny...

Oh, MAN, I just came up with another AOS AU that I may have to write. It would be a season 3 AU, where Ward has his Hydra team growing. Coulson sends Skye in undercover. There is SO much potential here! After everything that happens with the Afterlife, Skye would have a perfectly plausible reason for turning on SHIELD. And it would be so much fun to reverse their roles - Skye the one "living the lie" while Grant is struggling to find his place in the world. But he would also be really hesitant to really trust her, keeping her at arm's length while on a tight leash, just in case. And of course it would get dragged out when SHIELD realizes there's a much bigger fish to catch than Grant. I swore I wasn't going to start any new stories till I finished some of what's already going. But this one is really persistent. Okay. I'll push to finish Truce and at least update one other before I let myself run with this one.

That moment when, while doing research, you suddenly have a plot idea for a story you already completed. And it utterly reverses the ending of said completed fic. Which you can’t reverse because it had to end that way. But the plot bunny persists.
