ive been designing new outfits for my genderqueer oc, take a look if you want to see how it's going :-) a bit of a longer post!

for context, a bit ago i was thinking of Tristán (my oc) and i figured they would be genderqueer :-J his gender is kinda nebulous and "unclear" but in a way that feels natural and inherent to it. he would probably describe it as "whatever-the-fuck"gender or smth idk. or that it doesn't really matter. (there's probably a label for this but she doesnt concern herself with that). Other names for her would be Trinidad or the nickname Tris, and goes by he/she/they/any (except it/its, they have history with that) :-)
so i wanted to design some more feminine or androgynous outfits to reflect this!!
↓ this is me figuring out his face (i do this everytime i draw his face help) and drawing the fullbody base

it was also my first time getting to actually draw her mask, because in my mind she often wears one but ive never drawn it. on the left i wanted it to look for animal-like but didn't like it so i just kept bullshiting it until it looked cool. thats my process in anything i do btw.
this is an outfit they would wear in the past when they didnt know they were genderqueer, it looks more reserved and masc (he still likes dressing like this from time to time)

then for the second outfit, i wanted to make it more feminine as he was exploring the feminine side of his gender. i never draw skirts... theyre really fun :-D!! also shes a poncho fanatic did you notice?
the part of the legs marked in red means it's behind the see-through part of the skirt. and i gave her heels because i should just draw them more actually

finally for the third outfit im making, i wanted it to look more androgynous-leaning, idk if i achieved that very well but it looks nice to me. this time is more revealing and bold, since i imagine Tris would get more and more confident in different fashion and expression <3 (he still loves ponchos)
excuse me for the messy lines, maybe the design is not very readable, i just had a harder time making this one srry... i'll try cleaning it up in the lineart

i started lineart yesterday and coloring today!!! the mask is white on the outside, on the inside is bright red. i usually have a really hard time with colors so idk how im gonna fare 🙏

thats what i have for now!! i wanted to upload something while im around halfway to finishing this. sigh.... it's gonna be a bit torturous but anything for my diva bro
let me know if you know of a label that would fit Tris, i like learning about terms :-) maybe shes somewhere in the genderfluid spectrum
