Are you wondering about aquarium kits? If not, any plain glass tank (or plastic) would work just fine :). If so, I've heard good things about minibows and eclipse tanks.

I get my fish from local pet stores, preferably ones that are not chains, as I find they tend to have more interesting fish and buy from local breeders as opposed to mass produced fish. My latest fish, Augustus, is from a Big Al's store, which is a chain store that specializes in fish.

If you can find a local breeder, that's awesome too!

That mainly depends on the size of your tank.

How big is it?
