I am safe here in Zermatt, Switzerland 🇨🇭 high up in the hills of the Swiss Alps! This is the 2nd time in my life I’ve found a safe haven here, once on September 11, 2001 & now the Pandemic Coronavirus 2019. In Switzerland ALL SKI in the nation the entire Swiss Alps is CLOSED, ALL HOTELS, RESTAURANTS, BARS, Airbnb, SHOPS, POOLS, ALL trains in Zermatt to top of mountain Gongernat CLOSED, Except necessities like Grocery, Post Office, Churches (with gatherings of 50 or less) are open. Border to Italy 🇮🇹 & Austria 🇦🇹 CLOSED. I now know for certain, I am not on a vacation, trip, or even journey/adventure but I live here one day at a time. I am here in Zermatt & the Swiss Alps to stay as long as I can for the duration (of the Coronavirus chaos). I’m sheltering in place. I plan to return to the USA 🇺🇸 on November 5, 2020 as I planned. You can only imagine what life lessons learned, I’ve encountered in Paris & Zermatt in the past 2 weeks since March 1, 2020. On Facebook, you will NEVER see me cry, but SMILE 😊! Happy Saint Patrick’s Day everyone 🍀🇨🇮🇺🇸🇨🇭💚This Irish American girl 👧🏻 , Ms. Ann Kirby, still knows how celebrate by making Corned Beef 🥩 Cabbage 🥬 and Potatoes 🥔 today! #WhenIrishEyesAreSmiling #GiftOfGab #AmazingGrace “I once was lost but now I’m found.” (at Zermatt, Switzerland) https://www.instagram.com/p/B92iJ5rgzyw/?igshid=10hrmgtmjosxv
