I watched a wave of white travel to engulf me from the next mountain over. I hoped for fog. I hoped for snow. I anticipated what that swirling color meant, excited for it’s beauty. All I received was rain.

Feeling a little sad and nostalgic for the mountain snow dumping we have yet to receive this year. Hard to believe that a year to this day rather than it being barely 10 degrees and trudging through 5 feet of snow, it is cloudy and brown and 60 degrees. This planet is running a fever that isn’t going away, and even us nearly 7,000 feet up in the mountains can not ignore that fact. My little bean, Shiloh Dylan has definitely been feeling the loss of her favorite season.
