Our non profit/charitable org, Recreation Youth and Young Adults (theRec4Youth) is hosting a basketball drop in at St.Martins Secondary School in Sunday afternoons. This last Sunday was our first session and as we were setting up I couldn’t help but notice this beautiful painting of St Martin and the related story... it touched me so deeply. One simple act of kindness brings so much good and reveals a heart of faith shaped after God Himself. You: hey I'm gonna remove your heart from your chest violently, and leave you standing here in the cold.. But I want you to keep breathing, I want the blood in your veins still pumping, keep yourself warm and when I'm ready and everything is convenient for me I'll come back! Promise!

Me: .... (Still breathing, blood still pumping, but everything is turning cold and my blood is fucking blue)
