@halfthoughts: You make really good points, especially about the one with the similarities to emotional abuse. I am curious, however, on your thoughts of God and judging. You mentioned that God does not judge, so could you expand upon it? I'm interested and want to know ;u;
@wherethecherryblossomsdance Hey! Thanks for your questions. When I say God does not judge I mean that God does not condemn us. To me judgement means that one decides whether something is good or bad, whether it is good enough. And if it’s deemed not to be, judgement often comes with some sort of punishment or conditions imposed in order to improve or be better. I believe that God knows we are good enough as we are. No matter what we do or don’t do, or how much we believe, or don’t believe. God loves us unconditionally and accepts us with all of our flaws, imperfections, “sins”, warts and all. If we are already enough in God’s eyes, accepted as we are, then I don’t see how God could judge us. There is nothing we have to do, or be, or say in order to receive God’s love and acceptance. So in that sense, I believe God isn’t judging us. God is simply loving us.

-hugs tightly- I hope you will be able to stay safe. You and others in the LGBT community do not deserve this. You deserve to be safe and feel safe with who you are, and I'm sorry that this isn't so. ;;
Thanks, it’s comforting to know there are at least people who will stand with us.

This has kinda made me more anxious than usual, as if I’m not already on edge every time I go into a public bathroom and somebody gives me a strange look. At this point how can I know they won’t just pull a gun on me.
