friend… that’s so dangerous… do you not… keep it in your wallet??

I keep it in my wallet... like 80% of the time. The problem really arises just after I pay for something and I slip my card into my back pocket instead of putting it back. I forget about it, and then it ends up in weird places. I’m cleaning my room right now in the hopes that it found its way into the laundry pile or is stuck in my bed sheets or something. (It might also be in my roommate’s car, but Cody’s in Phoenix for a little while, so I can’t look for it there right now...) In the interim, I’ve been monitoring my account and there haven’t been any charges. If it’s not in my room or in Cody’s car, I’ll cancel it through the bank again.

Oh my god this sounds so stupid when I type it out...

I’m going on a date with this guy from work.

Like, it doesn’t sound that daunting, but

a. I don’t have that much experience dating people

b. the limited experience I do have is dating women and genderfluid people

c. he’s significantly older than me (like, 26ish to my 19)

d. he’s really persistant

e. if the date goes badly, I’m gonna be stuck with him in a tiny room with only like 2 other people at work on sunday

Frankenstein. The original sci fi! Written by 19-year-old Mary Shelley. Once you get used to the language (it was written in the early 1800s I believe) it’s actually really interesting.

I actually just read Frankenstein for the first time in my Later Romantic Literature class this year and I loved it, both that and Mathilda were great. Thank you for the recommendation though!!
