Anything from original Tabby - 4: What's your favorite line of dialogue?

Ooh, yay!! I got a question. I’ve been rereading Tom and Abby, and they are fun for me to relive. (I’m looking to actually add something to the original arc that only one person knows about.)

I have several that come to mind, but a lot of In His Kiss was built around fitting this line in: “Damn it, Tom! I am not just a hole for you to stick your dick in! You can’t claim me like a possession!” (Chapter 6)

Abby came into herself with that exclamation. It’s an ironic line in some ways, because Abby very much wanted to be claimed, to belong, to be loved. But there was a boundary for her, and Tom, in the beginning, found it when his jealous side presented itself. Abby isn’t a possession for Tom once he admits that he’s fallen in love with her, but she is his as much as he is hers.

Aside from that, I enjoyed their pun-filled conversations, and that helped define them as a couple. Those were challenging for me, since I had to research terms/words/things i didn’t really know about (Tennis for Victory) Some of the other dialogue heavy one shots: Cosplaying, Making Out, Cooking, Eating Ice Cream, Doing Something Together, Hello Tabby Cat and How to Make the Gnomes Blush.
