06/25/22 - Whetstone Ridge, VA - FAVORITE ROAD TO RIDE - As some of you already know, I count myself fortunate for having ridden my bike in each of the lower 48 states and a few provinces in Canada as well. In the process, I've ridden some really cool 'cycling bucket list' roads. So it's a bit surprising to me when I get asked about my favorite place to ride, there is no think time, there is no tough choice, there is no doubt: my answer is always going to be the BLUE RIDGE PARKWAY. It doesn't matter which stretch, which state, which tunnel, which climb or which descent; it's all good. Rode a tough 20 miles this morning and felt like I had the whole Parkway to myself; just the way I like it. Can't wait until next time.
