I ordered myself food- thanks to the people who contributed to my kofi you paid for half of my food tonight!!

got myself a thick shake and the heart attack in a box c:

every holiday comes around and my dad goes “hey should we have a barbecue” and then my mom goes “…who should we invite” and then my dad says “family or friends” and then my mom says “…who’s family” and dad says “mine” and then mom says “mm. No comment” and then they stop talking about it.

And then when my sibling and I leave the dinner table they start arguing bc my dad hates my Mom’s brother for some bullshit he pulled 15 years ago, and my moms like “he’s my brother” and then my dad is like “it’s his fault I hate him” and then they start yelling at each other about not respecting the other and my moms upset cause she hasn’t had the chance to have a full family gathering with her side for years and doesn’t think my dads grudge is worth it and my dads upset bc he can’t exist within the same building as my uncle without feeling great offense and just Being Annoyed

And like no doubt my uncle pulled some fuck shit I’m sure he pulled some fuck shit but idk after making ur wife cry in a restaurant bathroom on Chinese new year cause you couldn’t pull your head out of your ass for one night and go to dinner at ur brother in laws house, so you instead take ur family to have dinner at an empty restaurant (cause once again it’s New Years and the only reason the restaurant is open is cause it’s family owned) I have very little sympathy for this grudge
