And now it’s this menace to society’s turn to be 7!! Every borzoi household needs a token non-borzoi to keep their owners humble and boy does Georgia keep me humble.
Living in a city that sucks means you get really really really excited when they mention your city on tv and mention that it sucks
I was about to make a post complaining, but I've just realised that actually I've got a pretty sweet set up:
If I write about Ash having sex now, then I get to write about Hansry having sex later
In Orre, there is a culture of body painting and tattoos. They all have different meanings, denoting various statuses or classes. It was common for Orrenites to be covered in markings. Body paint denoted temporary statuses, tattoos denoted permanent statuses, and those caused through brands or scars denoted a punishment.
After the extinction event, the culture kind of evaporated. People were too busy surviving to invest in any sort of body paint or tattoos. Of course there were those privileged or old enough to still continue the practice (Dakim primarily), but its a practice being abandoned by the youths and less unfortunate.
One through line that has continued among the gangs of Orre is the branding. Traitors are marked with a prominent brand on their forehead. Granted, traitors who are caught are also killed, so the brands are mostly found on the corpses in the desert, but the message is carried even on a body.
Wes carries the only other mark in Orre, the scar fixed on his face after he was turned into a shadow human by Cipher: a straight line over the cheekbones and nose, denoting second class citizenship. From the very beginning, he was marked as property of Team Snagem.
