Look, I totally love the idea of Steve Rogers and Bucky Barnes deciding to “retire” in Hawaii - probably for all of two or three months until Shit Happens and the Super Soldier Boyfriends need to suit up for Avenger-ing but they DESERVE their vacation/honeymoon time amirite?
So imagine the boys in Hawaii and basically getting their tans on except Super Soldier Serum does not prevent Irish pale skin from getting SUNBURN so sunblock with the highest SPF possible is the first thing they buy.
Also, Steve gets freckles on his shoulders and Bucky is TOTALLY entertained by the fact that he can kiss each one (or so he claims).
So it’s sun and surf and swimming and enjoying themselves and they’re totally waiting for the Rest of the Gang to show up because Avengers deserve their Vacation Time too.
But in the meantime, Bucky is good and determined to make sure Steve keeps out of trouble.
Except Steve Rogers meets Steve McGarrett.
And Bucky Barnes finds out about his great-nephew Danny Williams, partner and husband to one Super SEAL.
Hilarity (and explosions) ensue.
And then Natasha and Wanda get to become BFF’s with Kono.
Abandon all hope.
