Okay with a small amount of research I’ve discovered that apparently in Sweden, if your kid’s friend is over at your house, you don’t feed them dinner so they won’t have to skip dinner with their family. Which means they just get to sit around while their friend eats. Apparently I never knew this because Mikael didn’t have any friends to visit.
