Two illustrations based on Yorushika’s Hitchcock. I find this song comforting. It’s nice that I’m not the only person who wishes I could stare at the summer sky freely, without any worries.

Anyway, I want to practice more with my coloring. Recently, I haven’t been too proud of my coloring, so I wanna practice it more and put more time into it. While that was the aim of these illustrations, it ended up being a complementary illustration. Yes, I know blue’s technical complementary color is orange, but I like blue-yellow better.

Overall, I think the coloring turned out good for these two, and I think the two illustrations tell a cohesive story.

I could spend months drawing and writing original content from my own brain matter for Avin, and ultimately nothing will ever fit him more than this gif.  And honestly?  I’m 100% perfectly okay with that.

Finished the angry boy. The anatomy's a bit off, but the experiment with colors was fun.

Tried to use less water and line with watercolor instead of a black uni pin pen / colored pencils. Also tried to use a color palette with orange tones.

Considering that I used plain paper, I think it's decent. :v

“A good kid”

This was kind of an excuse to play around with painting a bit more since I really enjoy how simplistic and free it feels, but I’ve also had this idea in my head for a while so I figured I’d finally draw it. Didn’t turn out exactly how I was imagining, but it’s close enough for now.
