For a better burger, try this Loaded Whiskey Burger recipe. The whiskey in the meat and the rich, smoky flavors make these burgers a real treat to eat. Great for a special event or just because you feel like treating yourself.
Ingredients: 1 lb ground beef. 1/4 cup whiskey. 1/4 cup breadcrumbs. 1/4 cup diced onions. 1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese. 1/4 cup crispy bacon bits. 1/4 cup whiskey-infused barbecue sauce. Salt and pepper to taste. 4 hamburger buns. Lettuce, tomato, and pickles for garnish.
Instructions: In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef, whiskey, breadcrumbs, diced onions, and a pinch of salt and pepper. Form the mixture into 4 equal-sized burger patties. Preheat your grill or stovetop pan to medium-high heat. Cook the burger patties for about 4-5 minutes per side, or until they reach your desired level of doneness. During the last minute of cooking, top each burger with shredded cheddar cheese and let it melt. Remove the burgers from the heat and let them rest for a minute. Toast the hamburger buns on the grill or in a toaster until they are lightly browned. Assemble your burgers by placing a patty on the bottom half of each bun. Top the patties with crispy bacon bits, a drizzle of whiskey-infused barbecue sauce, lettuce, tomato slices, and pickles. Place the top bun on each burger to complete the assembly. Serve the Loaded Whiskey Burgers with your favorite side dishes and enjoy!
