The name ‘Forests of the Deep’ is inspired by the mysterious kelp forests that grow in the ocean and play a crucial role in the marine ecosystem. The bottling is intended to commemorate an expedition to the Atlantic Ocean, which focussed on the exploration and conservation of these underwater treasures.

Bruichladdich Whisky Octomore Edition 15.3

Bruichladdich is known for its innovative spirit and commitment to craftsmanship. The Octomore 15.3 continues this approach and offers a unique tasting experience. The Octomore range is renowned for delivering whiskies with a peated phenol content measurement (ppm - parts per million) that is almost unrivalled in the whisky world. The Octomore 15.3 has a phenol content of 307.2 ppm, making it one of the most intensely smoky whiskies on the market.

The Concerto barley harvested in 2017 for this Octomore comes from Octomore Farm on Islay and was distilled in 2019. The whisky matured in first-fill bourbon casks and first-fill oloroso sherry casks from Fernando de Castilla in Jerez.

Ardnahoe Distillery is a relatively new whisky distillery on the Scottish island of Islay. Officially opening in April 2019, the distillery has quickly made a name for itself in the whisky world.

Ardnahoe Distillery is owned by Hunter Laing & Co. Ltd, an independent bottling company run by Stewart Laing and his sons Scott and Andrew. The Laing family has a long history in the whisky industry dating back to 1949. With the establishment of Ardnahoe, the family have fulfilled their dream of running their own distillery.

There is great anticipation for Ardnahoe Whisky and we believe it will exceed all expectations.
