Just a man, his dog, and his whiskey...
The Laphroaig 15 Years Old is one of the Islay distillery’s most legendary bottlings. It differs markedly from the impetuous, medicinal, and smoky character of the well-known 10-year-old expression and is regarded by connoisseurs as one of Laphroaig’s most elegant creations.
Thanks to 15 years of maturation in ex-bourbon casks, the oak has more time to round off the sharp edges of the peaty character while imparting its own sweet, fruity notes more deeply.
I'm playing Modded Fallout New Vegas while wearing the collar my wife bought for me and drinking peated whiskey.
God bless my hung tranny life.
I enjoy Laphroaig and like Willem Dafoe so I gave it a go. This is a bit surreal but worth a watch. It definitely made me smile.

Penicillin
I'm not as passionate about scotch as I am about some other types of liquor, but I'll enjoy it every now and again. I've mostly poked at single malts, and have very little experience with blended scotch. I picked up some Monkey Shoulder, and decided a Penicillin was called for.
2 oz blended scotch (Monkey Shoulder)
3/4 oz lemon juice (fresh)
3/8 oz honey syrup (GloryBee)
3/8 oz ginger syrup (Liber & Co. Fiery Ginger)
1/4 oz peated scotch (Laphroaig 10)
Shake all ingredients besides peated scotch with ice, strain and pour over ice. Float peated scotch.
The Penicillin is a modern classic for a reason. The Scotch and the ginger work in tandem to create a unique flavor and a tingling mouthfeel (probably just the ginger on that last one) that sticks with you something fierce. It's the type of drink that'll put a spring in your step.
