Tumblr and Sorrow

And it’s like winter overnight,

A sudden freeze came rolling in,

Sleet blurs my sight,

Tracks erased from where I’ve been.

And then, in the still morning, a frozen silence came.

Like a darkened star.

Like a hurricane.

I’ve never been more connected to a tweet in my entire life.

As the Tumblr we know comes to a close, I implore you all to remember, whatever new and wild portion of the internet you find yourself living in, to never stop loving cat memes.

Blurred Lines

My icon is now blurred out, because I have EXPLICIT and NOT SAFE FOR WORLD content on my blog, so even my FACE must be kept secret from the public.

Thank you, @staff for protecting our nations youth from a future where sexuality and open communication are a DANGEROUS reality, and promoting one where censorship and comfortable misogyny continue their (nearly) undisputed reign.

Truly I hope Tumblr remains a safe space of inclusivity that is absolutely opposed to inclusion.

Breakup Diary

Cold nights are colder

And Came the Winter

It’s cold out there now, out in those blazing shafts of light

Snow piled high, though it’s pleasant in the night

Garbage blown around my street and all inside my head

Garbage in my thinking, garbage round the bed

I’ve never broken up like this, never loved her when I leave

Never had a long discussion where it ends without reprieve

And so I’m going out into the darkness into that gentle world of sin

Might have left it long ago, but it will always let you in

Haven’t really been alone in all these 16 lengthy months

Haven’t been without her thought, haven’t been without her touch

And so it’s winter now inside this head

And colder in this heart

And if I’m climbing out or climbing in,

I don’t know where to start.

The Quiet

My girlfriend follows my tumblr but she just searches it out every time she wants to see it, and this week it stopped popping up. She can go to my page page directly, but I no longer appear in any searches, something I confirmed with a couple other people.

I assume that this is an indication I have been flagged and, come December 17th, will have this blog taken down altogether.

2k19 and I’ve been labeled a dangerous subversive by tumblr, I’ve been dragging myself through a breakup and I got aches in my heart and my head but I’ll snap a selfie and throw it out into a world already so full of vanity that its a a single speck of dust in a vast empty space but then again so is this place.
