Yesterday, I went to use my lump hammer, and as is the fate of all wood handled hammers, found the head loose, if only slightly. The good folks @crucibletool send along a metal wedge to fix this inevitability. I used my fathers’s old and beaten lump hammer in a fit of sentimental continuity to beat the wedge in place (Owe, my shoulder. Next time buy a sledge.)
