I'm feelin' you on the PacRim2 stuff. I honestly feel a lot of the lets downs might have been avoided if Del Toro had stayed with it? But I understand he has a lot of his other projects. It all just feels off without him. It feels like they are trying to make this a relatable video game or something.

yes yes yes relatable video game is exactly the vibe i’m getting, and tbh I had no idea Del Toro wasn’t directing it? but that explains a lot, it already feels very hollow compared to the first movie and as someone who’s room is lined with Jaeger replicas and username is based off one, I really REALLY hope it turns out better than it looks

And that’s really difficult to say cause they’re so different and fill different purposes. Smash Bros is for fun and To the Moon is for characters and feels.

I guess if I had to pick... To the Moon cause it left such a big impact on me and not to mention the Autism representation.
