white border icon tutorial.
okay so start by opening your original image in ps and cropping it to something around 155px width and 240px height like this:
sharpen your image, add your psd and any light leaks you want, something like this:
now to to image > canvas size and change the width to match the height (make sure you change the units to pixels) like this:
then you need to flatten your image by right clicking and clicking this:
then use the rectangular marquee tool
and select the blank part on one side of your photo. Hold down shift and then select the other side like so:
use the eraser to make these parts white so it looks like this:
click to make the selection go away and then you're done. just save it as a .png and it's good.
