I can't lie, I just drew the logo on the icy bay can because I miss the ocean.

The reason I went through all those old pictures from my old art class was to find some of the paper I didn’t end up using. I couldn’t find a pin the tail on the donkey for the kiddo’s b-Day. So my husband suggested making a mermaid one to go with the whole theme.

It’s not great but drawing like this instead of from still life is so much harder. I went for cartoony with some mock up background. I’ll see how it turns out once I start applying the conte and fixative. If not well. I just print out a stock image of a turtle or something and the kids can pin the shell on the turtle instead of pin the tail on the mermaid.

Also conte on a stamp works wonders

I never finished this piece, opted for the horse skull (which I have hung up in my house because mistakes and all it’s still my favourite piece over all)

But I still like this flower

In reality it’s about the size of my palm but it looks really big in that picture
