Rosie looks down at the pregnancy test in her hands, hardly able to believe her eyes.
“Kor?” She calls as she leaves their room. “Korrah? Paging Mr. Korrah Prism?”
“I’m right here, love.” Korrah sees the look on Rosie’s face – or, rather, sees her attempts to cover up her excited expression. “…okay, what’s that look for?”
Rosie’s smile peeks through her fingers. “I’m pregnant.”
Korrah’s face immediately lights up and he scoops Rosie right off the floor, spinning her around in the kitchen.
“We’re gonna have a little nooboo!”
“Yeah!”
“Our own little nooboo!”
“I know!” Rosie throws her arms around him, not letting go even when her feet touch the floor again. “I know!”
Korrah takes her face in both of his, suddenly very serious. “Are you okay with this? Do you want this?” He asks, concern lacing his words. “I know we haven’t even started wedding planning yet…
“Of course!” She leans in and kisses him. “This is all I ever could have hoped for and more, my love.”
Korrah’s smile returns. “Okay.” He buries his head in her shoulder. “Okay.”
Iron (White) I was thinking about Canada, David Bowie (for the gen face mark and probably the hair), how riddiculous it is for the White Gens to live in a snowy area and wear shorts and sandals, and also Princess Mononoke.
