Cess, very first model I painted. He came from the Grey Shields, reinforcing a nearly dead chapter, which was renamed the White Shields. (I painted most of my early space marines like Ultramarines cause that's what the booklet said) The White Shields follow the Iron Hand's Doctorine, though a closer version of what Ferrus Manus had in mind, using technology only to replace and augment what is missing or beyond normal capacity

Caltran the Betrayed, of the White Shields Succesor Chapter (Iron Hands) He took a blade to his spine from a traitor marine for his Captain, and now pilots the black Dreadnaught to prevent more of his Battle Brothers from falling

Does anyone remember that post with clips of a courtroom protest with black people getting on tables and when cops went to take them down a white person would get into the way? Then the cops would instinctively pull back?

The post + notes dissected it and showed perfectly how “white shields” are a thing.

Lately I keep running into people saying the concept is fake and I can’t find the link
