Wtf that comic sounds AWFUL?? All of the YOI fans I know are queer themselves and appreciate the fact that YOI normalises a gay romance instead of actually being a part of the Boys Love genre, it's a very different take on things. But 'Killing Stalking' sounds like.... The same old gross problematic yaoi bullshit that promotes horrific abusive tropes and seems completely oblivious to the idea of consent. Gross.

I think the YOI fandom needs to differentiate themselves from KS because Killing Stalking is being sold as the ~new Yuri On Ice/Yaoi story of the moment~ and I think that’s an awful representation for Yuri On Ice when YOI is actually cool and amazing whereas KS is problematic and just cheap bait for ~yaoi lovers~.

Don’t let people be tricked and think that Killing Stalking is a must read if you’ve watched Yuri On Ice because they have nothing in common. KS is damaging YOI’s reputation imo.

Just because you enjoyed YOI doesn’t mean you’re suitable for KS; YOI is an actual gay (and flawless) romance and KS is about an abusive and toxic relationship between a psychopath and his prey.

So I think people need to stop associating the two because that’s really giving Yuri On Ice a bad name (also it’s misleading as fuck).

Hi! I'm sooo happy to see you playing The Beginner's Guide! I didn't know this game existed until playing your video and I'm such a huge fan of games similar to it (Stanley Parable, Dear Esther, Everybody's Gone To The Rapture, etc.) so getting to experience it through your playthrough is so wonderful. I am SO excited for part two!

Hello! I just wanted to say thank you for reblogging my post, it is helping to get it out there. Apologies for how confusing and a bit convoluted it gets at points, I may at some point make a clearer post but that would probably involve screenshots and I'm really not looking forward to the, "IT'S SHOPPED!!!!!1!!11111" comments. (And just fyi, I know it can be frustrating but Minty is being supportive and this was a long time ago for her now and she has her own life to get on with.)

Eh, you wrote the post and went through it all, I just slapped some emphatic words on the end of it. I was mostly just warning of the sections where you’re talking about what you thought might be going on rather than directly quoting something because my blog is really focused towards primary sources. I try not to quote people’s opinions on things unless they’re taking the words out of my mouth and you said some stuff, especially the stuff relating to Lewis, that I’m not aware of and therefore can’t back up.

I know my reaction towards Minty’s quiescence is insensitive. But as I see it, if Sjin is still actively pursuing relationships with fans indiscriminate of their age, he’s a danger to the public and a moment or two spent denouncing him would be worth the emotional struggle. It’s been at least two years, it’s probably not raw for her anymore. And tough as it may be, comparing a day or so of internet drama to allowing a man to continue to perform for young girls, to lure them into private conversations and to flirt with them and to discuss meeting up irl, after confessing to this:

Totally but like. If you need to fly back to do work, that's what you do, you don't generally assume that a bad cold will cause HORROR.

True. If he thought that he would only get like a headache or something and he’d tolerate that as he worked, then I guess that’s understandable. I am still concerned for him though, and I hope he fucking learns from this.
