One of those snacks that just thinking about it gets your mouth watering. I can go through a large bag of Smartfood White Cheddar Cheese Popcorn in one day, no question. First of all, we all know popcorn in general is crazy addicting, and throw white cheddar cheese powder on it and game over! I remember the first time I ever had these....transition into dreamy flashback mode when I was 15 years old.... I opened the bag and can still remember the smell that immediately wafted under my nose. Kind of like an explosion of the smell upon opening the bag. It was a bit like smelling salty buttery popcorn, but not quite. It had that hint of cheddar cheese...but not like your typical cheddar cheese 'cheese-it' smell...no...this was much more sophisticated. I popped one into my mouth curiously, wondering what this unique smelling snack would fast like. I was surprised at the way it melted in my mouth. Usually popcorn has to be hot to do that. The delicious savory and salty white cheddar cheese flavoring spread over my tongue as the popcorn itself began to slowly disintegrate. I quickly knew that this was the type of snack that was best enjoyed with large handfuls, so I reached deep in the bag, not even minding the residue that would be all over my hand. Handful by handful I scarfed down the delicious popcorn..tasting it..chewing it..letting it melt in my mouth. And I've been it's biggest fan ever since. Hard to believe that not a lot of people know about this stuff. In my opinion, it should be up there with Nacho Cheese Doritos and Original Lays Potatoes Chips.
