Thoughts on Furgeson..

Lives matter. Black,white, yellow, red, whatever.. the life behind the skin matters. 

Whatever happened between the police officer and Michael Brown is something we will never know the entire truth of. We might speculate because someone is white or someone was on drugs but the whole truth stays in that moment and we can't go back.

A life was lost, and that is important.

People are going to have a difference of opinion, including me. As important as those opinions are, it is even more important how they are expressed. 

The violent, destructive riots on the street are definitely a way to make a statement.. but not the right one. Instead of working on the real issue of feeling safe in America you have now brought danger and fear to entire communities.

I feel bad for the people that want to actually inform others on the issues and for those that want to rebuild this country rather than destroy it.  

Raise Your Voice, not your fists.
