Keep It Simple - You might have the perfect outfit already in your closet. The key is to combine things until you find out what works and once you figure that out, find pieces to complete an outfit. Donate what you don’t use and make space for what you do. Much of my clothing is altered. For example, these pants are from @sayki1924 and they were much wider and had no cuffs. With some some alterations from your local tailor or dry cleaners, you'll breath new life into what you already have. Consider asking for suspender buttons next time your get your pants altered, you know, just in case.
