Tummy Lovin

Soft and squishy, shake and jiggle, kiss and tickle,  It’s tummy time!  Round and proud, a pillow made of love. Cooing softly as a mourning dove, I’m praising tummy up above.

On my knees I kiss your center looking up to see your tender smile I can’t help but feel beguiled Rosy cheeks and gleaming eyes I love you, tummy, tits, pits and thighs. 

Can’t help but grab a handful and shake shake shake till you giggle and laugh, a smile on your face as I jiggle your pears. Look how exciting! I found new tummy hairs!  Testosterone has the follicles growing and after years it’s finally showing. Resting my head on your grassy pasture I feel less alone more at home no longer scared to be on my own. 

Feels like friendship when we hug and safety when I kiss you.  Home is where the heart is but tummy is where I want to live. 

Tummy flounce and sway, bounce and flop.  Watch out! I’m gonna pounce and tickle you, make you wriggle Till your laughter fills this whole house. 

You have so much more than I do and sometimes that makes me jealous… That I am zealous of your figure but struggle to give mine the same tender vigor. 

Your belly’s bigger, wider, fuller more spacious for storing love and adoration.  Mine is cute but not as vivacious. That doesn’t stop your voracious love from telling me to be more gracious. It feels serene to be so seen. 

Just because your tummy  can hold more kisses than mine  doesn’t mean they don’t contain the same amount of love.  I can not wait to one day see my tummy through your eyes and let you see yours through mine.

As a plus size person, I am TIRED of defending the body I've worked so hard to accept and love. I'm tired of being seen as lazy.
