I knew reading this would upset me because of the current horrible political climate fueled by #cult45 and, of course, it did. The frightening ties one can make to today’s “patriotic” right wing extremists to how the events in #thehandmaidstale played out is extremely unsettling…it makes the #insurrection of Jan 6 look even more dangerous!
