Mountain Secrets

Summary: when Weiss becomes sick of the teasing from her teammates after she breaks up with Jaune, she unwittingly loops Ruby into a plan.

With classes behind them and suitcases packed, Weiss and the rest of her teammates are beyond ready for winter break. They’re spending a week in the Atlas mountains, renting a house large enough to house four teams, not just the two. She’s been craving this trip, needs it, but the one thing she doesn’t need is the constant teasing that she knows is waiting for her.

Weiss should’ve never dated Jaune, she knows that now. Knows that even if the sex and physical chemistry was there, everything else was…not. Besides, a few weeks after their breakup, he had been stuck to Pyrrah’s side, the girl he’d told Weiss she’d never have to worry about.

Typical, but she can’t even say she’s mad about it, if anything, she’s a little relieved when she sees the two of them board the train hand in hand.

The teasing is small, little jabs that she can easily brush off with a chuckle or a roll of her eyes. By day two though, she’s sick of it. Over breakfast, Nora loudly narrates imaginary wedding plans, and Yang nearly chokes on her cereal from laughing. Weiss narrows her eyes at Blake and Ren who quietly grin as they stare into their bowls. With a sigh, Weiss looks at Ruby, expecting a similar response, and is completely thrown when she finds the opposite. Spoon in hand, Ruby is frowning at the rest of their friends before giving a little shake of her head and taking a bite of the sugary flakes.

It’s then that the idea hits Weiss and she stands up, her chair squeaking, hands splayed on the wood. “I know you all think it’s really funny that Juane and I decided to be with other people, but it isn’t. If anything, it’s probably really annoying to Pyrrah and Ruby.”

The table goes quiet, and Pyrrah tilts her head, green eyes blinking slowly. “It is a little bit, actually, for me. But why Ruby?”

“Becaus she’s my girlfriend,” Weiss says quickly, fast enough that she can’t change her mind. Ruby’s spoon falls from her hand and Weiss clears her throat. “We just, didn’t say anything yet. But since you have all insisted on being so immature, I figured you should know.”

Weiss sits back down with a huff, swiping up her utensil while the others stare at her. Ruby swallows, coughing and then says. “I am?”

“Yes,” Weiss replies with a nod. “We’re dating. Obviously. Sorry to say it so brazenly, uh, babe.”

Ruby’s ears go pink but she gives a little nod. “Right yeah, can I talk to you? In private?”

“Of course,” Weiss stands up again, ignoring the way her legs feel like jello as she walks from the table, Ruby hot on her heels. She’s barely out of the room when Ruby grabs her by the elbow and yanks her into the closest bedroom.

“What the hell!” Ruby squeaks, her tone several pitches higher than normal. “What was that about?”

“I’m sorry,” Weiss sighs, rubbing her temples. “I didn’t- uh, think that out. I was just so sick of all of them!”

“So you just what, thought you’d randomly spring a relationship on me?” Ruby asks with a quirk of her brow. “I didn’t even get a chance to ask you.”

“I rhought if I said-“ Weiss starts but then stops, her lips parting. “Wait, what?”

Ruby folds her arms, and even though she’s looking tough, her cheeks are a light shade of pink. “I thought I should give your breakup at least a month before I asked you out but, you beat me to it.”

For once, Weiss is speechless. She blinks, any sort of reply turning into ash on her tongue. Taking in her expression, Ruby snickers, her eyes crinkling at the corners. “What? You gonna say no?”

“No, I just-“ Weiss coughs. “Well I didn’t know.”

“Didn’t know what?”

“That you liked me.”

Ruby’s smile melts a little at the edges, and she takes Weiss’s hand, pulling it close until it rests on the side of Rubys cheek. The girl smiles, her eyes closing for a second before she presses her mouth to Weiss’s palm. “How could I not?”

Whiterose fluff prompt 1: Atlas Cuddles

Here’s the fluff piece for the first prompt I got it kinda winds around and does a little more then just fluff but I had fun writing it and I think it’s cute.

“ARRGGGGHMMPPFFF”

“going that well is it?” Ruby laughed at her partner.

“Ssshhh no more talking” Weiss replied grumpily barely raising her head off the bed she had just flopped onto. Her legs hung off the end, her hands were thrown up above her head and she laid face down as Ruby crossed the room to sit next to her.

“Ok” Ruby answered simply, comfortingly tracing a small circle on Weiss’s back with the palm of her hand. This went on for a few moments before Weiss rolled over with a cheesy grin on her face. Her hair had become messy against the bed and her hands still laid above her head like she was on some strange sideways roller coaster.

“I love you” she said simply gazing up at Ruby. The whole scene was very un-Weiss like, but Ruby smiled back it was a side of Weiss even she saw only rarely, and she treasured it.

“I love you too!” she said and boop-ed Weiss on the nose with the hand which had been rubbing her back

“Dolt.” Weiss laughed back catching Ruby’s hand in her own and kissing it between giggles which caused Ruby to fall over in giggles of her own.

“That’s no fair you know that makes me laugh” Ruby said finding herself lying next to Weiss.

“That’s why I did it” Weiss answered with a smile leaning over to kiss Ruby, on the lips this time, then she did it a few more times not to mention a couple on the cheeks and neck just for good measure. They were short playful pecks and she stopped as they both descended into another bout of giggles. After the laughing stopped, they both lay next to each other smiling into each other’s eyes but slowly Weiss’s smile faded, and she sat up with a frustrated sigh. Ruby frowned, Weiss often came back from the sort of meetings she had been in today frustrated but this was clearly even worse then normal.

“Is there anything I can do to help?” Ruby asked concern creeping into her tone as she sat up next to Weiss “Can I get you a coffee, a snack, I dunno Myrtenaster and a few witnesses willing to lie and say it was self-defense” Weiss gave her a look which would have been a scowl if not for the smile creeping across her lips “What?!” Ruby continued “You don’t think I could do it? Me, Yang and Blake would say anything we needed to for you in fact Blake might know a few umm old associates who would say anything if it caused Jacques some trouble.”

“That’s terrible” Weiss responded shaking her head and chuckling

“Then why are you laughing” Ruby answered with a smile

“Because you’re much too good at this.” Weiss replied

“Good at what?” Ruby asked as innocently as she could

“You know what you little fiend! Distracting me.” Weiss answered pinching Ruby’s side “But I do appreciate it” She added more seriously

“But you’re going to insist on not letting me do it aren’t you” Ruby added in what wasn’t quite a pout.

“Sorry” Weiss answered “It’s just… You know what I hate most about this place.” Ruby shook her head quietly and moved to sit cross legged behind Weiss and softly massaged her neck. “It’s how no one cares. We go through all these, these stupid little dances say this do that and wear these terrible phony smiles the whole time. A whole room of people with no joy in their lives and not a care for anyone other than themselves, smiling at each other and asking how everyone’s been or what their newest hobbies are. I can’t stand it! and you know the worst part the part I really can’t stand I used to be one of them, Ruby! I used to sit in all those meetings and smile and say all those words and I didn’t care about any of those people. I didn’t care about anything but me and all those things I was supposed to do and say and now I’m back in all those same rooms, with all those same people, saying and doing all those same things. It reminds me of a time I’m not particularly proud of a time I’d rather forget and yet I’m here doing it all again and still none of them care.”

“You care” Ruby whispered “More then any one else I know”

Weiss turned to face Ruby crossing her own legs in front of her as she did “That’s just because you always forget about you Ruby, I don’t hold a candle to you.”

“aww Weiiisssss!” Ruby said jumping forward and tackling her backwards in a big hug

“Woah, Ruby!” Weiss cried as she fell backward quickly casting a glyph which held the duo up more then the bed Ruby had just effectively thrown them off of “You dolt! If I was anyone else..!”

“I’m not dating anyone else.” Ruby interrupted kissing Weiss. Weiss rolled away as soon as Ruby stopped escaping to the safety of the bed just before releasing the glyph and dropping Ruby on the floor “Hey!” Ruby called back.

“What you caused this I was only saving myself. That was the natural consequence of your actions” Weiss retorted with a well-practiced aristocratic sniff

“I take it back” Ruby pouted still sitting on the floor, crossing her legs and arms. “You don’t care you’re just a big meanie who will let her loving girlfriend crash on the floor just because she got a little carried away with how much she loved you.”

“I suppose that is the natural consequence of my actions” Weiss answered

“natural consequences of what… Woah hey!” Ruby cried as a second glyph shot her, relatively gently, back on to the bed “Nice shot” Ruby said as she landed right next to Weiss

“Thanks” Weiss answered with a smile

“natural consequences of what actions?” Ruby asked finishing her initial question.

“Oh just the ones where I decided to date you. I knew going in it was probably a bigger threat to my safety then being a huntress and for some reason I decided to do it anyway. I guess I should accept the consequences of that as much as you should accept what’s bound to happen when you jump face first off a bed.” Weiss replied

“very funny” Ruby said going back to her pouting “but does that mean you’re better finally? Did you get it all out?” she added after a moment

“Yes” Weiss answered with a light smile “I think I got it all out for today at least thank you for listening”

“Good” Ruby replied and tackled her again this time into the bed instead of off it “because I think now you need a good snuggling, you know make sure your spirits stay nice and high for the rest of the night”

“Oh because I need it, is that why? Are you sure it doesn’t have anything to do with you wanting to?” Weiss asked staring up into Ruby’s eyes as she laid on top of her their faces only inches apart

“Well” Ruby answered as though she had been caught with her hand in the cookie jar “there could be two reasons” She admitted before kissing Weiss on the neck the way Weiss loved.

Weiss stretched herself appreciatively against the contact and smiled back deviously “Well, if you insist…”

You’re Impossible

Summary: Weiss & Ruby find solace in eachother after a night of fighting Grimm.

Ruby has always been good at moving, and the worst part about coming home is that there’s finally time to think.

She’s good at running toward danger, towards the next mission. Running toward anything that keeps her from sitting still long enough to feel everything she’s carrying.

But after hours of fighting Grimm in the freezing wilderness, there’s nowhere left to run, especially not with Weiss sitting across from her.

They’re both exhausted, the tiredness settling deep into their bones. Ruby’s muscles ache, and Weiss feels dirty, grime and sweat caked to her skin.

Neither of them says much, because they’re too tired, or maybe because they both don’t want to face what needs to be said.

Ruby glances over, and Weiss is sitting on the edge of the bed, carefully cleaning a cut along her arm. Her hair is falling out of its usual neat style, strands framing her face.

“You’re staring again.”

Ruby immediately looks away. “I’m not.”

Weiss raises an eyebrow, her mouth twisting. Even when she’s exhausted, she’s still Weiss.

Ruby sighs. “Okay. Maybe a little.”

A tired smile pulls at Weiss’s lips before she looks back down at her arm. “You should shower and rest.”

“So should you.” Ruby counters and Weiss looks up again.

“I was here first.”

“That doesn’t even make sense.”

“It does in my head.”

Ruby laughs quietly, folding her arms as the silence returns. It could be comfortable, maybe even relaxing, but then Ruby remembers Weiss throwing herself in front of an attack earlier that day. Weiss remembers Ruby taking a hit meant for her. They’ve both done it too many times, both almost lost each other too.

“You scared me today.” The words leave Ruby before she can stop them, and she clenches her fingers into her palm.

Weiss inhales through her nose. “I’m sorry.”

Ruby shakes her head. “That’s not what I mean.”

Weiss looks away, her bravery failing her. She knows what Ruby truly means. They’ve been dancing around this for months, maybe years. Every almost-confession, every lingering touch, every moment where they stand just a little too close and pretend it means nothing.

Ruby takes a closer step, her boots quiet on the carpet flooring. “Weiss.”

The way she says her name makes Weiss’s expression falter. “What?”

Ruby has faced down monsters bigger than buildings. She’s fought battles where the odds were impossible, and yet this feels harder.

“I don’t know what I’m supposed to do with how much I care about you.”

Weiss sits up a little straighter, and the room is suddenly stifling. “Ruby…”

“I know,” Ruby whispers. “I know we’re tired, and maybe this isn’t the time.”

Weiss’s fingers curl slightly into the blanket. “But you’re doing it anyways huh?”

Ruby nods. “I almost didn’t get to.”

The room goes painfully quiet, and Weiss looks down. When she speaks, her voice is barely audible. “You’re impossible.”

Ruby gives a small, shaky laugh. “Yeah.”

“No, I mean…” Weiss exhales. “You’re impossible because you make it so hard to pretend.” Ruby feels her chest inflate but Weiss keeps going. “I’ve spent so long trying to convince myself that you’re just my partner. My teammate. My friend, and… I’m very tired of lying to myself.”

Ruby sits down on the bed beside her, and takes her hand. “Weiss…”

“Hold still for a moment.”

Ruby blinks. “What?”

Weiss’s thumb brushes over her knuckles, her eyes soft despite the exhaustion. “Just… hold still.”

To her credit, Ruby listens. She sits stiff as a board, and lets Weiss pull her closer, lets their foreheads rest together, lets the silence speak for them.

The kiss is slow. Careful, and Ruby wonders if she’s half dreaming. Weiss twists her head, the pressure deepening, and Ruby mimics her, barely moving her neck even though her hands ache to touch her.

When they finally pull away, Ruby’s eyes are already heavy.

“You’re falling asleep,” Weiss murmurs.

Ruby smiles faintly. “Maybe.”

“You’re impossible.”

“You keep saying that.”

“Isn’t it true?”

Ruby showers first, her short hair sticking to her neck as she slides into bed. Weiss showers next, ignoring the crumbled towel Ruby had left on the floor, the material that was lucky enough to touch her partner’s naked skin.

Exiting the bathroom, she smiles when she sees Ruby is already asleep. Quiet as night, Weiss slips in the covers beside her, wrapping an arm around her waist and dragging her closer. She kisses Ruby’s neck, behind her ear. The girl sighs, settling closer, and when Weiss closes her eyes, she swears she smells roses.

Ruby stirs her coffee slowly, the mug warm in her hands as she watches the dark sky outside. The world is still, the sun not yet having risen, and the only light comes from the dim glow of the kitchen lamps. She’s up early—earlier than usual—but there’s something peaceful about the quiet hours before the world wakes up.

The sound of footsteps pulls her attention, and she glances over her shoulder. Weiss stands at the foot of the stairs, hair a bit messy, eyes still heavy with sleep. She’s wearing one of Ruby’s oversized shirts, the fabric hanging off her like it belongs to her. Weiss looks both adorable and completely out of place at this hour, but Ruby can’t help the smile that pulls at her lips.

“Early, huh?” Ruby says, turning back to her coffee.

Weiss blinks, squinting slightly as she drags herself toward Ruby. “You’re the one who’s up early,” she mumbles, voice thick with sleep. She lowers herself into the chair next to Ruby, still not fully awake. With a soft sigh, she leans against Ruby’s shoulder, her chin resting on it. Ruby can feel the slight warmth of her skin, the soft touch of her breath against her neck.

“Why’re you up so early?” Ruby asks, her voice a gentle mix of curiosity and warmth.

Weiss lets out a contented hum, her grin faint but there. “I just want a few more minutes with you,” she says softly, her words a quiet confession, the edges of them still blurred by sleep. “Before you go to work.”

Ruby’s heart skips, a small flutter of warmth filling her chest. She reaches out to take Weiss’s hand, her fingers brushing over the back of her palm.

Weiss’s grin only deepens, eyes half-lidded as she glances up at Ruby. Her fingers move to play with the sleeve of Ruby’s shirt, and she shifts closer, her body heat a soothing contrast to the coolness of the kitchen.

Ruby finishes her coffee in silence, the warmth of it mingling with the warmth of Weiss beside her. She turns her head slightly, their faces just inches apart, and in the dim light, Ruby can see the faintest trace of a blush on Weiss’s cheeks, even though it’s early, even though Weiss is barely awake.

Without thinking, Ruby leans in, pressing a soft kiss to Weiss’s lips. It’s brief, gentle, and full of affection. Just a small kiss to carry with her as she heads into the world, to remind her that there’s always this warmth waiting for her when she comes home.

Weiss’s hand lifts to cup Ruby’s cheek, and when they pull away, she’s still grinning, her eyes filled with both sleep and gratitude. Ruby can feel her pulse quicken, her heart beating a little faster than it should.

“I’ll see you tonight,” Ruby murmurs, her voice soft.

Weiss nods, still not entirely awake but still fully present. “I’ll be waiting,” she replies, and Ruby knows that even though the sun hasn’t risen yet, everything will be just fine.

With one last lingering look, Ruby finishes the last of her coffee, stands, and heads out the door, the warmth of Weiss’s presence carrying her through the rest of her day.

Like Fireworks

Summary: Blake & Yang help Ruby come up with a way to ask Weiss out on the Fourth of July.

Pairing: Ruby x Weiss, Yang x Blake

A/N: this was written in 30 minutes and no beta testing sorry not sorry. Happy Fourth of July!!

"That dress is going to get you more than just attention."

Ruby flushes, pressing down the pleast of her outfit. "I'm...not sure what you mean."

Blake leans back into Yang against the knitted picnic blanket beneath them, smirking. "You know exactly what I mean.”

"She hasn't kept her eyes off you." Yang adds, wiggling her brows. as if on instinct, Ruby glaces over her left shoulder. Standing beside the punch stand, Weiss is in light conversation with Neptune, a cup held in her hand. She's talking, but her eyes are locked on Ruby, baby blues intense and piercing. Having been caught, Ruby looks away and feels the heat creep to her neck:

"I can't do this." Ruby whispers. She can practically feel Yang's eyeroll.

The confession during the school's annual fourth of July fireworks picnic had been Blake's idea. After watching the pain-staking dance that Ruby and Weiss did around one another, she had finally broken and approached Ruby about it. With Yang's encouragement, the girls had come up with an easy enough plan to get Weiss and Ruby alone.

"Cherry punch?" Weiss's voice nearly makes ruby jump out of her dress, and she hiccups in surprise. Raising a hand to her mouth, Blake weakly hides her giggle as Weiss sits down between them, folding her legs delicately beneath herself.

"I- thanks Weiss!" Ruby chirps, electricity bouncing through her skin as her hands brush weisses fingers when she grabs the cup. "Nice Weiss strikes again."

Weiss smiles and tucks a strand of white-blonde hair behind her ear.

"The show will be starting in 15 minutes! Please take your seats." the announcer's voice boomed over the loudspeaker, capturing everyone's attention.

Blake jumps to her feet. "Yang! I want a candied chocolate candle."

"A what?" Yang asks in confusion, allowing Blake to pull her to her feet.

"I think they're out," Weiss interjects, taking a sip of her punch. Blake blinks for a moment and yanks at yang again, harder this time.

"Then I want a Cherry Clock!" she demands, and she practically hauls Yang away. Ruby rubs her temples in slick embarrassment.

Weiss wrinkles her nose as she watches Blake and Yang disappear into the crowd. "What's up with her?"

"she ah...has a sweet tooth?"

Weiss sips her punch again with a light shrug. "Maybe. How's your drink?"

Ruby holds up her cup with a smile, and they click the plastic drinks together with an easy laugh. "It's great, nearly matches my dress."

"I...agree with that sentiment." Weiss says carefully, and her eyes rake down Ruby's body, sending a shiver through the red head. Ruby knows she's flushing and looks away, tapping her finger on the rim of the now empty drink.

"Hey, um..Weiss?"

There's a hiss and a pop, and a dazzle of sparkles light up the sky. A stream of light blue fireworks erupt in the sky, sending cascades of light across the clouds. another pop, and bright red fireworks explode, like rapid gun fire.

"It's starting!" Weiss says happily with a clap of her hands before turning back to Ruby. she has to project her voice to be heard over the fireworks. "What were you going to say?"

There's another pop and there's a discharge of golden light. it swirls and deeps, glittering calligraphy in the night sky, the clouds it's canvas.

"I just- i wanted to ask-!" ruby tries, but her voice is captured by the bang of the fireworks and her head feels warm, nerves swirling in her stomach. "I wanted to ask if i-i could take you out?"

"What?" Weiss cries, her brows knitted in confusion. Ruby swallows thickly, wipes her sweaty palms on the fabric of her dress.

"go out with me!" she tries again, and Weiss cocks her head.

"Where?" she calls back, leaning forward. Ruby swears under her breath. Maybe proposing the idea during a loud expression of light wasn't the best idea. she looks up, tries to put a smile on her face.

"Forget it!" She chirps, wrapping her arms loosely around her knees. "Later! We can talk later!"

Weiss pauses, the lights of the fireworks dancing across her features. A look of determination settles across her face and she scoots forward, leaning her face towards the side of Ruby's head, her balance being held by her left arm.

"Oh no you don't." She murmurs, and using her right hand, she grips the collar of Ruby's shirt, and pulls her close before pressing her mouth to hers.

Ruby squeaks in surprise, the sound muted by the smooth expanse of Weiss's lips. Fireworks shoot off above them, red and green and purple and blue erupting in the night sky, and when Weiss pulls back, she's smiling.

"Now about that date," She murmurs, her lips glossy, and Ruby smiles.

Prompt: royalty and knights

There's a sharp tap at Weiss’ window and a swooping pressure that fills her chest as she stands. Her teeth sink into her lower lip before she tip toes forward, careful not to step on the uneven stones in the flooring of her room. Pressing a hand to the window pane, Weiss grins and mouths a small “hi” at the figure outside.

One hand on the window frame and one hand on the thick vines that run up the castle walls, Ruby is grinning. Her normal knight's armor is gone, and instead she’s dressed in a simple dress shirt and pants that cinch at the waist. Her sword, fondly named Crescent Rose, is strapped securely to her back, its handle poking from the side.

“Come, come,” Weiss whispers as she opens the glass. “The guards are outside so do keep a low tone.”

Ruby’s smile broadens into a beaming grin as she loops her legs inside, and no sooner had her feet touched the ground, she grabs Weiss by the arm and captures the Princess’ mouth with her own.

It’s soft for a moment, but the second Ruby’s tongue flicks at the corner of Weiss’ mouth, the girl moans. It becomes all consuming and desperate. They’re a tangle of limbs as they stumble to Weiss’ bed, breathless and warm, and Ruby only stops to undo Crescent Rose from her back and lay it on the floor. She’s back on Weiss in an instant, pressing her into the mattress and digging her fingers into Weiss’ wrists.

“Hello,” Ruby says, her voice soft. Her pulse jumping, Weiss tries to swallow and steady her breathing.

“I wasn’t expecting you,” Weiss whispers, and she nearly shifts when Ruby’s hand reaches below her night skirt and pushes the material up, revealing baby blue silk panties.

“Uh huh,” Ruby snorts, raising an accusatory eyebrow. “Of course not.”

Weiss feels her cheeks heat and she shoves her skirts back down in mild embarrassment. Leaning forward, Ruby presses a kiss to the corner of her mouth, then her cheek and then her nose.

“You’re precious when uncomfortable.” Ruby hums, her eyes fluttering shut as Weiss runs a hand down her neck and collarbones, squeezing the side of her breast down to her hip. Weiss smiles, enjoying the reaction she can gather, and squeezes Ruby's hip again.

Ruby shivers, her silver eyes cracking open. “Princess.”

Sitting up, Weiss loops an arm around Ruby's waist and flips them so that the knight is flush to the mattress and Weiss is standing between her trouser-cladded. Fingers brushing the knots of Ruby's belt loop, Weiss smiles. “Try to keep your voice low, Rose.”

“Do I have to wear this?”

Before turning to look at her daughter, Weiss pinches the bridge of her nose. Getting Snow and Summer dressed in the morning is always a challenge but she really didn’t have the energy today.

“Why don't you ask your mom?” Weiss says, cocking an eyebrow. It is Ruby's turn to try and corral their twins.

“Ask me what?” Ruby pokes her head into the bedroom, dark hair swishing around her neck. Weiss gives her partner a disgruntled expression and Ruby giggles before settling on the bed beside her, and holding up the disregarded dress.

“Do you like my dress mommy?” Summer asks, and she fluffs the dark red material under her baby smooth hands. Snow sticks out her tongue and frowns, the expression so close to Weiss’s that it makes Ruby snicker.

“I love it, Sum,” Ruby hums, and pinches the little girl's cheek. “And I think Snow would look just as pretty as her sister if she were to get dressed too.”

Ruby lifts the dress and Snow grunts in frustration, but holds her hands up nonetheless. With a laugh, ruby slips the dress onto the girl and Weiss straightens out the wrinkles in the material.

“All ready?” Weiss asks, standing and smoothing out her own dress. Ruby grabs her hand, squeezing lightly before pressing a kiss to Weiss’s knuckles.

“You look beautiful,” Ruby murmurs. “Like an angel.”

Weiss rolls her eyes before she tugs her hand away, but ruby doesn't miss the way her cheeks flush.

As the family approaches the studio, Snow charges ahead, her short legs taking her only a little ways forward.

“She is stubborn.” Weiss murmurs as Ruby holds open the door. Ruby snickers, her hand on the small of Weiss's back as they enter.

“Then she’s definitely your daughter.”

As the photographer begins to pose them, Ruby takes in the expressions of her girls. Weiss, with her high ponytail and pale skin is the vision of perfection. Summer, with her silver eyes and round cheeks looks like the younger version of the grandmother she would never meet, and beside her, Snow is almost a digital copy of the Heiress to the Schnee dust company. Ruby couldn’t be more grateful, and as the photographer begins to snap the pictures, she smiles as wide as her love for them would allow.
