Sunset Mountain Glow It was fleeting. I took some photos but just plopped down in the sand and wind and watched it. And then it turned pink. And I ran for it. Photos eventually.

Sand Shelf Perhaps it rained and solidified a layer of sand, and then the wind carved out from under it. It's actually quite small, about 6 or 8 inches long. Tiny epic canyon with impressive textures. 🏜

The ripples of waves along the bottom of the ocean? White Sands desert, New Mexico, after sunset~ Despite being so incredibly dry, it's really one of my most favorite places.  Truly stunning.
