+Whitesingedwings made the water ripple
Narcissus had been enjoying his morning at the small lake. The day was bright and sunny and the water was a crystal blue. A perfect day for water gazing. He'd been lost in thought until the water began to ripple and his profile faded from view. Narcissus frowned, his reflection always seemed to leave him.
His brow raised in question as a small feather landed softly on the water in front of him. Looking up, he found the cause of the ripple. There was a dark haired boy, just to the right of him, who was using a tree branch to reach for some kind of trinket from the water. Oh, that is a bad idea. "Uh, hey! You! You probably don't want to do that!" Narcissus called over, but he was sure the boy couldn't hear him.
With a sigh he walked over to the boy. "Wouldn't it just be easier to jump in?" he asked before hearing the branch snap.
