Part Uno Part Dos @whitetreefox colored this part for me!!! I drew this like over a month or two ago and I never would’ve finished if it weren’t for fox saving my butt on colors YwY Thank you foxie!! Also this was going to be the escape comic before ppl started liking these comics and now I’m addicted to making them and also now I can’t do an escape comic without Valentino!! So I added that last tiny part at the last second lol

along with getting my copy of bleeding heart in the mail this morning, I finally got my commissions from @whitetreefox!! they're so great and I love them (especially considering I didn't give the best reference pics and it was my first time doing on-sight commissions haha :,D it's a learning experience) I love the bonus stuff too! thank you so much for it (I always need a new bookmark so that's perfect)

Hi Ashley, love your newest pages as always! I had a quick question about your process if that's alright. Your backgrounds are impressive and I was wondering what your steps are in coloring them while still being efficient. Do you draw your line art and flat them in and shade, or do you paint them under your lines? I hope that makes sense! Much love !
Hey there!
I follow a pretty traditional workflow with the pages. I sketch them all out, I ink them, I flat them with local colours, and then I dupe the flats layer, and then colour one of them, saving the dupe for selections. I’ll have one layer on top, too, for glows and particles and other effects.

Khert pages are a little different. They’re a combination of composited renders from Mandelbulb3D and digital painting. They do take a long time.
