Please Everyone, stop with the Whitney Kropp shit.

 I am from that school. I know her. I know that situation. This is so blown out of porportion. I can't even handle how much attention this doesn't need to be getting. Jwow tweeted about it. She was on the Today show. They're giving her free shit. Apparently shes going on Dr. Phil.

No one stops to think about the boy that was elected with her. They're calling him a bad person for dropping out. He wasn't going to be on it in the first place, no matter who got elected for the girl side. He's a quiet kid that didn't want that kind of attention. AND NOW all of these adults, the media, and America (and some parts of New Zealand? ) are BULLYING him. I thought the point was to stop bullying? Where is his make over, free dance clothes, free diner and limo?

This is so ridiculous. Worse things have happened at my school. A girl put cow shit in a special ed kid's lunch while he wasn't looking. NOW THAT is bullying. Where was the media then? Also, since my school is so small.. it was only about 20 people that voted for her. PLUS she asked most of her friends to vote so you'll have to take them out leaving about 10 kids that voted for her to be mean. We can all probably name 10 people that aren't too fond of us.

And lastly, during her first News Interview she said very nonchalantly "Yeah, I thought about killing myself over this." NO ONE who is suicidal would say it that causally to the media! Tumblr, I'm sure you know what I'm talking about when I say that.

I am so disappointed in the media, in my school, in America.. there are better and more time worthy things to be reported on.

She's had her 15 minutes of fame. It's time to move on.

High school student Whitney Kropp was shocked earlier this month when she was named to the homecoming court.

Her happy surprise turned to humiliation when she learned the reason. The students thought it would be funny if the popularity contest was won by someone who was unpopular.

Her embarrassment was complete, but it didn't last long.

This tiny farm town an hour north of Saginaw quickly rallied around her.

For the homecoming dance Saturday, businesses will buy her dinner, take her photo, fix her hair and nails, and dress her in a gown, shoes and a tiara.

For the homecoming game Friday, residents will pack the football stadium so they can cheer when she is introduced at halftime.

They will be wearing her favorite color (orange) and T-shirts with messages of support. A 68-year-old grandmother offered to be her escort.

Well, that made my morning.
