Alex's eyes were wide..it was a complete medical miracle that this man hasn't died yet for this man put a bullet through his skull. Looking over his skull Alex had bandages ready to wrap around the unconscious man's head. Doing so in a hurry. And as tight as possible.
"Can you hear me?" He asked. Taking his glasses off as he checked his pulse. Then his eyes. Shining a light in them to see if there was any change or get some sort of reaction out of him." You're one lucky bastard.."
He awoke with a sharp gasp. Instinct told him to move, but the second he tried, white - hot pain ripped through every nerve. ❝ Fuck ! It hurts ! It fucking hurts ! ❞ He didn't even know where. His eyes ? his skull ? his brain ? his medulla oblongata ? His mind was a fogged - up mess, after consciousness slammed back into him like a freight train.
He wasn’t exactly thinking about what he’d done to end up like this — that would’ve required clarity, & clarity was a luxury he couldn't have right now.
Through the haze, he caught sight of a man — a stranger. Didn't matter, he needed something real to hold on to, something to anchor him to the world instead of the agony. Both his hands shot out, clutching the man’s arm with desperate strength. His nails bit into skin as another cry ripped out of him.
❝ Jesus Christ, it hurts ! ❞ It was all he could manage, all he could think, all he was. Just pain, panic, & a pulse that refused to calm.
