As for DUPLICATES? I'm unsure how many Dude writers are out there, but this blog accepts them with open arms! Especially when this blog has different muses available, it'll be easy to write something together.

This blog is also very accepting of OCs and crossovers! I've ALWAYS loved them, and frankly, if I didn't -- I'd have no one to write with here!

Since this is a multimuse, please specify muse in asks or starters! If you don't, I'll either default to Dude or another muse I see most fitting for the interaction. If I forget to or don't specify, feel free to uno reverse this rule. Which you can just pick Dude by default, or any of the others if you'd rather!

II. NSFW + Triggering content

You're probably already aware but these muses come from a controversial series. Common content you'll find on this blog: MASS KILLINGS, GUN VIOLENCE, GENERAL VIOLENCE, DRUG USE & MENTION, SUICIDE MENTIONS & TENDENCIES, BLOOD & GORE. Although this series is filled with even more, I suspect the aforementioned will be the most frequent across the blog. Everything will be tagged regardless.

These muses are horndogs, so when smut happens, it will be tagged as "nsft"

Because of the themes present, and the Mun's age, this blog is 21+ only.

III. CANON DIVERGENT

Many plot points and details in the series are left unclear, and thus, up to player interpretation. Due to this, I have my own interpretations of certain events & characters across the series. For more information on my depictions, it's best to read the character pages rather than making assumptions!

All "Dudes" (The Dude from P1. The Dude from P2, and The Doe) are treated as different characters who exist in separate, alternate worlds.

This blog primarily focuses on 𝐏𝐎𝐒𝐓𝐀𝐋 1 & 𝐏𝐎𝐒𝐓𝐀𝐋 2, while taking a little from Redux. As a result, Dude's main verse takes place in a slightly canon divergent setting right after Apocalypse Weekend where he doesn't fall into an 11-year coma. Why? I don't care for the fourth game's story, characterization, or overall tone much. I just rather focus on the first two games.

I also depict Dude (P2) as chaotic neutral. He's not the most evil man in the world, but he's not particularly good either. He's violent and willing to kill, but won't just kill / hurt anyone and everyone he sees.

I also don't follow the movie's canon, I simply use Zack W.ard as a live action faceclaim for convenience's sake. I enjoyed the movie! I just don't see its canon as the same as the game's. Doe's faceclaim is Lindsay Lo.han.

Due to Doe being a character that showed up in an April Fool's game, there isn't much lore for her available. As a result, much of her lore on this blog was written by me.

𝐏𝐎𝐒𝐓𝐀𝐋 3 isn't canon either on this blog due to the creators pretty much dismissing it as such. I don't associate anything from it with Dude's character. However, I will be using P3 Dude for The Demon's icons.

Due to multiple muses on this blog being a "Dude" -- I'll be referring to them by different names in order to avoid confusion. (As you might've seen with "Guy", "Demon", and "Dude") You can check the character pages to understand who's whom.

Finally. Although this ISN'T canon to begin with, I wanna make this clear because it's a popular fan theory, and this blog does NOT agree with it. The Boss / Dude's father is not the protagonist from the first game. This is out of personal preferences, analysis, and feelings regarding the character and first game. As already mentioned, this blog depicts that Dude (or "Guy" as he's referred to here) as another person who lives in an alternate world different from the main / P2 Dude's world. Dude and Guy are not related to each other in any capacity -- this means they are not blood relatives, Guy is younger than Dude. None of the muses on this blog are kin to each other.

Icons and graphics are made by me! IN FACT, all the renders in the bios are made by me in Blender! (With the exception of Dude's!)

Special note: I use an edited version of the beta model from P3 for Dude's regular icons. The original SFM conversion was by NTFRMERTH on steam. HOWEVER. I converted the model to Blender, and not only that --- but I LEARNED how to rig faces in Blender just to make him expressive (as the keyshapes just weren't working well for me!) and I edited his textures to my liking. That also means not only did I make the icons, converted a model and learned Blender 101, but I also made the pictures FOR said icons. Obvs don't steal plz. It'd be blatant LOL. Other than that, I just wanted to explain where the icons came from. :')

or that she should be. the woman outside is soaked in blood, red coating her button down shirt and the pillow she's feebly cradling in her arms. shaking, pale, eyes wide and darting like a rabbit in an open field.

her voice is a barely audible rasp, even tinged with the kind of mania that means she might rise to a scream at any moment.

"please let me in. please, i can't find him anywhere, i don't know where i am." she wobbles, looks back over her shoulder. "i, i just need to get to parson's-by-the-sea, i just... i need to find my baby, please. please."

there's a shotgun firmly grasped in his hands. the front door comes to a slow, creaky open — each groan of old wood seemingly louder than the last. her behavior does nothing to ease his nerves. if anything, it only reinforces his suspicions.

except the problem is, he doesn't know which suspicions. she's absolutely hysterical. but that doesn't narrow anything down. had she been poisoned ? had whatever sickness that was sweeping through the town reached her, robbing her of her senses and rendering her mad like the others ? or was she a victim of them instead ? trying to survive the madness like he was ?

as much as it'll break his heart, guy nearly tells her to leave. to get off his property. to find somewhere else. he can't risk letting anyone in, it could mean signing his own death warrant.

but then something she said had him reconsidering.

when she mentioned a baby.

guy freezes and his stomach tightens into an uncomfortable knot. it could be a ploy to lower his guard. his mind eagerly supplies a dozen reasons not to believe her. but ... what if she isn't lying ? what if there's really a child out there ? what if, while he stands here doubting her, that baby is suffering ?

the possibility alone is enough. his conscience won't let him gamble with a child's life.

gingerly, the shotgun lowers just a fraction, and the door opens a little wider. guy steps aside, leaving enough room for her to enter. the gun is never withdrawn, though. not yet. not until he's certain.

There are ppl who DO say they don't like Demon being an actual Demon because they think it takes away from the severity of the characters' mental illnesses. Some people even say it makes him "innocent." (I say it's more complex than that. While it makes Guy not AS bad, and Guy is a victim too, he still pulled the trigger. But regardless, Guy also strongly believed his (and others) lives were in danger)

And maybe it's unintentional ... but I do think in a way, Demon also showcases another struggle mentally ill people go through.

That being manipulation from neurotypical people -- especially for neurotypical people's own entertainment. Mentally ill people are often pushed by neurotypicals because they're far more vulnerable and neurotypicals know this. You've probably seen such examples before -- but there have been "viral" videos of autistic people having meltdowns, and in the video, you can hear people around them mocking them or intentionally doing something that triggers the meltdown. People do this in order to get clicks online, and to perhaps perpetuate a false narrative about mental illness & disorders without the important context. (That being in which the individual would've been fine had they not been deliberately pushed to their breaking point) I remember there was a viral vid on Twitter last year of teens doing this to an autistic classmate on a school bus. Acting like the classmate was the 'weird" one for screaming and breaking down, when you can hear others intentionally picking on him.

We see Demon do this to Guy. He intentionally goes to Guy, who was already vulnerable and scared, at a very vulnerable time in his life -- and he fed into Guy's paranoia and delusion. Tricking him into believing he really IS in actual danger. Because Demon knew it was easy to push Guy further until he breaks.

It's such a silly pet peeve but it DOES kinda irk me is when the fandom treats "Demon" as the same as Guy. I mean, they apply the "only my weapons understand me" sentiment to Guy ... even though that was something said by Demon, not Guy. Or when they apply Demon's sense of humor and sadism to Guy.

Guy and Demon are objectively two different characters with two different personalities. Even if you wanna reject the "Demon is an actual Demon" theory and go with the "Demon was just an auditory hallucination" / symptom of mental disorder -- Demon still behaves separately from Guy.

As I've pointed out several times before too, Demon has a literal different voice (actor) from Guy. Not only are they different in personality + motives, they also sound completely different. Guy's journals also contradict so many things Demon says, too.

I understand why ppl can be mistaken tho. Considering that many players probably do miss Guy's journals completely (given they can only be accessed through the original physical manual ... which the Steam version annoyingly lacks.) And maybe ppl can miss that Demon & Guy have different voice actors. But y'know ... ig it still kinda peeves me when they're treated as the exact same. It just ... feels like mischaracterization to me.

Messing around with Blender and I never noticed Demon has a star on his jeans. Awww that's cute. ⭐ Usually it's obscured by his coat, so you can never see it! They should've moved it to somewhere more visible! Oddly, there seems to be a higher res textures for his model in the files. I'm not sure if this was intended for pre-rendered cutscenes (since older games would typically have pre-rendered cutscenes in Better Graphics) that were never made or what. These textures are bigger and a lil different in some places, so I can't apply them to his normal model unfortunately.

The unused higher res texture also features a completely green shirt -- as opposed to his final version, which has a metal gray shirt and only a green alien head. I might prefer the green shirt more? Since even Dude's shirt always had a blue tint to it... but I don't know!

There's also a higher res texture for the face too... it's a bit different! ...

The higher res face features more prominent freckles + longer sideburns + more orange hair. But also a completely different eye shape (lip shape looks completely different, too...) Does there exist a higher res, unused P3 model out there? If so, I'd love to see it. Though I see why they changed his hair color + eye shape. I honestly rly like Demon's face in the final build--

He has a rather unique looking face -- I especially love his boxy eye shape!
