you’re smart, you know when news sources are like “ a source close to them said that they’re really excited for the baby” do these people actually go to news sources and tell them information? do the news ppl reach out? does the person who is being talked about know about this? is it actually the person who’s pretending to be anonymous? i’ve never understood that, I would never talk to news sources about private info about friends but celebrity world is different and a lot is staged

I’m smart enough, but I’ve never been a celebrity, and their world is different. I think entertainment journalists must be like any reporter in cultivating leads. I would guess sometimes it’s the celeb’s team making sure good press is out there, and sometimes it’s someone with a grudge. It’s probably the celeb sometimes too. Entertainment journalism seems even less concerned about the truth, so depending on the outlet they might publish an anonymous rumor—the tabloids would. But honestly I don’t know. News gets leaked. The reasons are probably various. The sources too.

Masen needs to rant about friends so excuse this post. Rant-y bits under the cut for those who want to know.

Okay so BFF Caitlin and I are supposed to be moving in together in like August and first it was an apartment and now we are looking at buying a foreclosure that doesn’t need too much work instead. So she told her parents because they have money but aren’t exactly rich just to see what they’d say/mention it so hopefully they would offer to help with the money for it because Caitlin isn’t financially independent yet. They mentioned lots of things about budgets that are waaaaaay higher than ours, so she said she would talk to them about everything again after they got back from a family trip last Monday. I’ve been trying to get ahold of her ever since to figure out wtf they said and I can’t get her to call me back AT ALL. Its just frustrating and pissing me off because like...I can’t ask for any help (even something as small as $5) from my family because literally no one can afford it. We are all poverty level to very, very low end of middle class. Paycheck to paycheck type of people. There is no money anywhere, which is why I still can’t go to college, so for me to be buying a house - even a super cheap one with someone else - is entirely on ME. And its just super frustrating to be trying to budget on how much I have to ‘live on’ and whatnot for this summer and how much overtime I need to put in at work when I have no IDEA what my budget for moving will be because she won’t answer her damn phone. I’ve been trying for a WEEK to get ahold of her and the couple times she has texted me is either ‘’sorry i got home from work and crashed!’’ or ‘’i’ll call you after work today and we can talk :)’’ maybe its just my anxiety but in the back of my head i just keep kind of wondering if she’s having second thoughts on moving in together even though we’ve been talking about it since her freshman year and just doesn’t want to let me down or thinks I’ll get mad at her. :/

idk I am just frustrated and trying to be an adult and get my life sorted because college isn’t an option for the next few years and when people keep ignoring texts and phone calls and then PROMISING to get back to you later that day and then NEVER do, always with the same excuse I just get a little pissy.

3. Your current relationship     My current relationship is with a super sweet and adorable girl. She is literally the light of my life atm. I would give anything to meet her irl because alas she lives in America thousands of miles away from me. But none the less she has made a huge and wonderful difference in my life.

8. Your pets  I have 3 pets well in a way there is 5 in my house just the bearded dragon belongs to my brother. So I have 2 cats one is super old and the other (my literal baby) is a lazy fat shit ball that likes to meow at me for no relative reason. I love him anyways tho. Then there are my two dogs a relatively old one and then one we got in october of 2013.

9. Your dreams  I wanna travel the world. You know see the world and what it has to offer. Meet the important people in my life. Just generally get out there and live the life I’m definetly not living here.
