⚠️ Used Misoprostol & unsure if it worked?
These are the 7 clinical warning signs of failure — based on WHO 2022 guidelines:
🔴 No bleeding within 24 hrs 🔴 Bleeding stopped in <1 day without passing tissue 🔴 Pregnancy symptoms still present after 1 week 🔴 Strong positive test at 4+ weeks 🔴 Fever >38°C lasting 24+ hrs 🔴 Severe unrelenting pain 🔴 Foul-smelling discharge
A 2nd dose (800 mcg, correct route) can raise success to ~95%.
Never swallow misoprostol — absorption drops to just 30–40%. It must dissolve in the mouth or be used vaginally.
