oh gosh I miss Whodunnit and all of you so much you know who you are
It's time.
Who's ready for SEASON TWO OF WHODUNNIT: TUMBLR EDITION????
After a pretty thrilling season one, we here at whodunnit tumblr are back and ready for more thrilling murder mysteries! If you'd like to be a part of season two, please reblog this post by Valentine's Day (February 14th).
Now this will work exactly like season one.
Here’s how.
We’ll choose 13 people that reblog this post.
those 13 will be the contestants.
Every Sunday, (starting 2/23/14) there will be a new “episode”
These episodes will consist of everything the real episodes had
the three areas to investigate (last known whereabouts, morgue, crime scene)
everyone will choose where they want to go by sending me a message (in my ask)
Once everyone knows where they’re going, they will receive a message in their inbox, that states everything found in the area they chose to investigate.
(example message): You chose to investigate the crime scene! You found a a needle, footprints by the door, a blood stain around the area that ______ crashed, and a hammer.
Alliances
Once you have received your information, you can share it with any of the contestants you choose. just like the show, you can try to bargain for information, hold back info, or keep it all to yourself. This will be done by sending asks to each other.
Ex: *sending message to another contestant in their ask box*
"i found a hammer in the crime scene, i think it might play into the murder. what did you find in the morgue?"
Again, this is exactly like the show. You do not have to share all of your info, and you can form your own alliances.
Clues
In the show, contestants had to race around the house to find clues. You will do the same. I will send you all a riddle, and you must solve it. The first to solve it will be told a clue, that they can choose to share or not share.
State your case
Each contestant will send me their case (this can be done on fanmail, as there is a limit on how much you can type in the askbox) And the ones with the worst case will, of course, receive a scared card.
Scared/Spared cards
At the end of each episode, I will send each contestant an ask, saying if they have been scared or spared.
Deaths
The name of the contestant that died will be announced at the end of the episode, and a small preview of how they died will also be provided.
The Killer
The contestant chosen to be the killer will not know that they are the killer until there are 3-5 contestants left. (So the contestant that will be the killer does not know that they are the killer until later ((because they have not been told)), so that nothing is unfair)
Requirements
Must be following me (so i can contact you and such)
Must reblog this post - (so i can make sure you’re an active account)
Must track the tag “whodunnittumblr” (so you can keep up with the game)
Times
Sunday (starting 2/23) at 8-9 PM central time (contestants must be able to be online every sunday during the whole episode, for those missing an episode, contact me at least a 5 hours in advance)
And I think that’s all! the 13 contestants will be announced February 16, and I will send them an ask giving them more details about the upcoming episode.
Even if you don’t end up being a contestant, you can easily track the game, and it should be pretty awesome!
All events from the current episode will be posted live in the whodunnittumblr tag, so if you are interested in watching or being a contestant, please track this tag.
If I missed anything or you’re confused or have any questions, just send me an ask!

Hello everyone! I haven't posted on this account in ages, but I'd like to inform you all that season two of Whodunnit *should* start again in late December/January. I hope you all thoroughly enjoyed season one!

In the back of the police cruiser, along with Kirsten, you see a small, hairy face.
The trained monkey.
CARLIE HAS WON! THE ANSWER WAS KILLER!
Sure, you reply, that’s all right.. “o_” (OK - K)
You, me.. first person (I)
I’m in a letter but not a message, double this one (LL)
everyone has it, but not all of you do (e)
pirates(RRRRR)
A little different than you expected, huh? We're all here. Back in my room. And... you three girls... I think you should... leave. But one of you has to survive I suppose. We all know the killer is me, thiskillsthebeat. That means nothing now, though.
It's time for your final challenge. The winner will... well... win. The losers - will be gone forever.
What must you do? Solve my final riddle.
Sure, you reply, that's all right.. "o_"
You, me.. first person
I'm in a letter but not a message, double this one
everyone has it, but not all of you do
pirates
This riddle may seem completely incoherent, but if you really think about it, it will make perfect sense. You have 3 minutes to solve this riddle. The first person to send in a correct answer is the winner.
The Killer's Note
Hello again, mortals.
Killing James was... a bit too easy to be fair. Not quite as intricate as I could have done, but after all, not everything has to be detailed to kill.
So... how did I pull it off this time?
After a scary night, James hopped into the shower. It was fine, until the shower head, already 3/4 of the way unscrewed before-hand, popped off, whacking James in the head. He was knocked out cold. The impact from the shower head left a big bruise on the back of his noggin. Once I heard the thunk of his body against the bath tub, I quickly released my golden poison arrow frog (Phyllobates terribilis), and let it do its work. (I happened to leave the glove I had used to hold the frog in the bathroom.) Climbing all over James, its toxic skin secretions slowly set in. As I said in the document I sent to one of you, "its effects prevent nerves from transmitting impulses, leaving the muscles in an inactive state of contraction. This can lead to heart failure or fibrillation." Soon enough, James' heart could not pump fast enough, it could not supply enough oxygen and blood to the brain and other areas of the body. I left his body there for you all to find, and got ready to eat a wonderful breakfast.
It seems to me you all have the best case. Or worst... who knows.
I'm going to take you into the room of the killer now... Each and every one of you... Let's go.
