Howdy! This blog serves as an archive of Tumblr posts where the joke or context is split across two or more posts. This blog's goal is to prevent posts from getting separated or lost on people’s dashboards by creating a two-way link as an addition to the posts themself. To do this, I have to post both of the posts first so that Tumblr will let me copy the hyperlink that ties it to my blog, so if you see a fresh post on your dash/the blog without a hyperlink, please refrain from reblogging until they both have hyperlinks. It should only take a minute :)
If you're wondering why you are seeing this same post twice... that's because I'm changing the way I would like posts to be submitted. So, here is the current preferred way to submit two part posts to twopartposts:
Do Send By Direct Message:
At this point in time, the only way I will reliably accept submissions is by direct messaging both post parts. I know DM's aren't a lot of people's forte, buy you don't have to say anything if you don't want to :) I will try and respond to submissions this way so I can know what has and hasn't been saved for future posting.
Do Not Submit by Tagging:
Unfortunately I'm no longer going to accept submissions from being tagged in the posts directly, for a number of reasons. 1) Tumblr's tagging system is too unreliable and sometimes wont notify me if I have been tagged in a post (especially by the same person), leaving me with a lot of unpaired posts. 2) It's far too easy to lose the posts I've been tagged in, as I'm not active frequently enough on this blog to keep up with submissions done this way.
Do Not Submit Via Hyperlink:
There is pretty much no chance of me accepting this submission unless there is some sort of Tumblr bug preventing it from being DM'ed to me. I often save posts on mobile and then edit and post them on desktop, and dealing with non-clickable hyperlinks is a huge pain I'm not gonna submit myself to.
As a little note for everyone, you’re free to tag me in posts that come in 2 (or multiple) parts. They’re wicked difficult to find since you can only really stumble across them if a mutual reblog both at the same time. That’s half the reason this blog exists: to keep them somewhere you can find them (and also to make sure they don’t get seperated)
Maybe I’m the one in the wrong. Maybe the *point* is to reverse the fire-Plinko posts, because if you can reverse gravity why not reverse time, too? Fate can be changed.
(From the phrasing of the two fire-Plinko posts, I think the “you can’t change fate” is actually supposed to come second - as that means, since the horse is falling up, it will still fall into fire.
But everyone I see reblogs it so the “you can’t change fate” comes first, letting the horse go free.)
