Virgo! (happens to be my sign, too! :D)

Hello and thank you for the ask! I’m not sure which ask game you’re referring to, so I’m just gonna answer both! :D (Also Virgo is the sign before mine so hey!!)

Virgo: are you very critical of your own writing? how much do you find yourself editing (either during the writing or after the fact)?

I used to be really critical of my writing, and it actually stopped me from writing a lot of the time because I was worried it wouldn’t be perfect. Now I’m honestly like f it if it’s bad I can fix it later, just get words on the page, and it has done WONDERS lol. I edit a lot as I go, but only if what I have above is preventing me from adding more later on.

Virgo - Describe your favorite tropes.

My all time favorite is found family but everyone loves found family. I also love morally ambiguous characters, the overconfident gentleman character (bonus points if they have a top hat), the sweet innocent ray of sunshine (and I usually put them through some shit), I need at least one bossy bitch who deserves to be bossy bc she is probably right, friends to enemies and bonus points if they become nemeses, friends to lovers is good but only if it’s not creepy… there are more but you get the point lol

Siren: What is your OC’s kryptonite? Something they would jump into a sea of hungry sirens for?

I actually think for all three of the LiaHT Trio, it’s respect.

For different reasons, obviously: Olu is young and looked down upon, feels weak and deep down yearns for someone to accept them on equal standing. Mal is a contradictory mess of dismissing and pushing away those she wishes to be respected by. And Nora is an, insecure, queer young adult.

Glowy-Thingy: If your character saw a strange, glowy-thingy, would they poke it or go ‘nope, nope, nope’ ?

Mal: pokes

Olu: nope nope nope

Nora: finds a stick or something to poke it. curious, but cautious.

Chosen One: Who was the first character you made for your current WIP?

I think Olufemi was first, though Mal followed hot on her heels! I sorta built them together.

I’m so sorry in advance

Freed by Dysphoria has always been Ben’s favorite song. After he leaves with a group of settlers on a jungle-planet, his sister Juliet comes up with a plan to find him and bring him home. But for that, she needs the help of the lead singer from the Dysphoria band, Eileen Lightning, thinking that Ben’s favorite band might just be the thing to bring him back. As she and Eileen embark on a dangerous journey through the stars, Juliet comes to realize freedom is more than the stuff of song titles, and that her brother might not be the only one she wants to bring home.

Not taking anymore for now, but I’ll probably do more of these later! This has been fun =D

The Davis siblings would like some love, have some facts about them.

Cannon was recruited to the Network first, he was a freshly out of the military soldier in need of purpose but unable to deal with quite so strict guidelines, it was purely by chance he met Falco one day. The two of them recognized fellow soldiers and got to talking, which led to the job offer. 

Hunter was recruited not long after Cannon, offered a job as a security guard when Cannon mentioned his brother was also looking for work and had done security before. He finds the Network to be confusing but appreciates the values put into it and promoted. 

Archer was a teen when her brothers were recruited, but she benefited from the educational assistance and help in the areas she was having problems with.

Hello friend! Here are some fun facts for you with an extra fun one in the middle for the big BLOOP!

- Siva went to university in Middlewich to study Politics and Governing Strategy.

- Sorrel has many, many animal friends, but each of the other rebel kids have one animal friend who likes them best. Avery’s favourite is a magpie she calls Shimmer, Dove’s favourite is a cat called Spilt Milk, Elva calls her favourite fox Hair because they have the same ginger hair. Anita reluctantly befriends a little brown mouse who seems to love her. Sorrel says his name is Sniffles.

- One of Avery’s dorm mates, Hannah, likes Batman. Avery is very surprised by this because so few casters interact with ordinaire culture.
